A Sight for Psychic Eyes (Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. prequel)
Author: Kelly Hashway
4.5 out of 5 stars
Piper Ashwell is psychic, and she uses her visions as a private investigator. She also helps the police, including her father who is a detective. When a 9-year-old boy named Eric goes missing in the middle of the night, Piper works with her father to find out who took Eric and bring him home. Will they succeed?
The writing of this story was great and really drew me in. It’ a novella, so it was fast paced, quick read. And there were some good twists and turns in the plot. One in particular really surprised me. In general, I liked the characters and thought they were ell written. I liked Piper’s personality and her relationship with her father, who is very supportive of her.
The only negative that I noticed is that at one point in the story the obvious answer for why a suspect went missing, that he was searching for Eric, was never considered, which didn’t quite fit with my sense of Piper’s father’s personality. He’s the type to think of and consider every possibility.
With that one little negative, I’m rating A Sight For Psychic Eyes 4.5 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed the book and will definitely be reading more in this series.
